Education and Training Services

Our team has assisted and represented both operators and private equity investors in M&A and financing related transactions, involving international private schools and universities in Thailand. Due to the highly regulated nature of this industry, we have been heavily involved in advising on applicable foreign ownership restriction and regularly contacted and interacted with relevant officers at the Ministry of Education during the course of our representation.

Notable transactions include:

  • Advising China YuHua Group in its acquisition of Stamford International University

  • Advising a company engaging in higher education services in the People&rsquo's Republic of China, in its acquisition of 100% control in Shinawatra University

  • Advising Navis Capital in its acquisition of 55% economic interest in Ambassador Education Group, a license holder of six private international schools in Thailand
